Lawrence Li

Lawrence Li is a Managing Director and Head of Transaction Banking at HSBC, where they serve as the CEO of PayMe. Previously, they held various leadership positions at Citi from 2018 to 2024, including Board Member of Citibank Hong Kong Limited and Head of Credit Card Portfolio and Lending, where they significantly contributed to revenue and balance growth. Lawrence also directed digital transformation initiatives for Citi China and managed P&L responsibilities across multiple banking sectors. They began their career at Hang Seng Bank as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. Currently, Lawrence is pursuing a degree in Computer Science at The University of British Columbia.
