Lei Zhang

Lei Zhang is the Head of Internal Control Assurance, bringing extensive experience from various prominent roles in the finance and technology sectors. They began their career at the Bank of China as an Officer of Assets and Liabilities Management, followed by a position as a Management Information Developer at IBM. Lei served as a Manager in IT Advisory at KPMG China and contributed as a contract consultant on social media at Manchester Business School. Throughout their career, they held multiple senior project management roles at HSBC, culminating in leadership positions in regulatory reporting and internal control assurance. Lei earned a PhD from the University of Manchester, complementing their MSc from Alliance Manchester Business School.
