Leigh Farina is the Global Head of Business Continuity and Incident/Crisis Management at HSBC, where they lead a team across Asia Pacific to ensure effective planning and response in 62 locations. With extensive global experience, Leigh began their career at PwC and later established the PwC Hong Kong Business Resilience practice. Previously, they held several key roles, including Senior Research Laboratory Technician at the University of Cambridge and contingency planning positions in local government and the NHS. Leigh has also contributed to the development of the ISO 22398 standard for exercising and regularly speaks at conferences on resilience and emergency planning. They hold an MSc in Emergency Planning Management from the University of Leicester.
