Leigh James is currently the Head of Financial Crime for Singapore and International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) Asia at HSBC, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as the Global Head of Anti-Bribery & Corruption for Wealth and Personal Banking from 2016 to 2020, as well as holding various leadership roles in anti-money laundering and financial crime compliance across the Asia Pacific region. Leigh earned an MSc in Security Studies with a focus on Public Policy from UCL in 2011.
