Leo Liao has extensive experience in information security and IT management, starting as a Senior Consultant at EY from September 2008 to August 2012, where Leo served clients across various industries, conducting IT audits based on international standards. Afterward, Leo worked as IT Audit Manager at The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited from December 2012 to February 2014, focusing on IT audit programs and general control audits. From February 2014 to June 2018, Leo was an IT/Info Security Manager at Luxottica, assessing risk and implementing information security frameworks. Following this role, Leo served as China Info Security Manager at Vitasoy International from July 2018 to August 2019, before taking on the position of Manager, Information & Cyber Security at Cenovus Energy from September 2019 to July 2025. Currently, Leo holds the title of Senior Manager - Technology and Cyber Security Risk at HSBC since August 2025. Leo obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2008.
