Lian Wang

Lian Wang is the Vice President of Data Science at Synchrony, where they manage data exploration and model development to enhance business performance. Previously, Wang held senior roles at HSBC, where they orchestrated cross-functional teams to implement AI/ML models and improve digital acquisition rates. They also served as Chief Data Scientist at BlueFocus Communication Group, driving big data strategies and operational efficiency. Wang's earlier experience includes a Senior Manager position at Capital One, focusing on model governance and risk modeling. They hold a PhD in Economics from Binghamton University and are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University.
