Luke Addison is currently a Kubernetes Platform Technical Lead at HSBC, where they lead a globally distributed team in developing and supporting an internal Kubernetes platform. They joined HSBC in 2021 after serving as a Staff Solutions Engineer at Jetstack, where they specialized in cloud native technologies and delivered training courses on Kubernetes. Previously, Luke gained experience at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as a Systems Administrator and mentored students at the University of Warwick while earning a Master's degree in Mathematics. Their journey also includes participation in various initiatives, such as the Warwick Jailbreak for charity and leading a group during a summer expedition in Costa Rica.
