Mahmood Alam

Mahmood Alam is the Head of Consumer Sales at Askari Islamic Bank, a position they have held since 2019. They previously served as Regional Sales Head for North & Central at HSBC, where they have worked since 2007. Mahmood's career in banking began as a Sales Manager at Standard Chartered Bank from 2003 to 2005, followed by a role as Regional Sales Manager for American Express until 2007. Mahmood holds an MBA in Marketing from Preston University, obtained between 1997 and 1999, and completed high school in science at the Saudi Arabian International School Pakistani section from 1981 to 1994.
