Margaret McGovern

Margaret McGovern is a VP of US Public Affairs at HSBC, where they leverage over 25 years of experience in government relations and public policy. Previously, Margaret served as Chief of Staff to the Assembly Majority Leader in the NYS Assembly from 2001 to 2006 and as Deputy Budget Director for the NYS Assembly Ways and Means Committee from 1994 to 2001. They are currently pursuing a BA at SUNY Geneseo and an MA in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School. Margaret is recognized for their analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and capacity to manage complex stakeholder interests.
