Mark de Silva

Mark de Silva is a sustainability professional with expertise in ESG rating agency and index frameworks, as well as reporting requirements. They served as the Assistant Manager for Environmental, Social, and Governance at the Business Environment Council from 2014 to 2017, and then held the position of Associate Director for Group ESG at AIA until 2021, where they oversaw ESG reporting and strategy. Currently, Mark is involved with the Global Reporting Initiative as a member of the Capital Markets Technical Committee and works as the Stewardship Director at HSBC, focusing on climate engagement. Mark is also pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Lingnan University.
