Martin QIAO

Martin QIAO is an experienced professional in data science and machine learning, currently serving as the Head of Data Science Solutions at HSBC since June 2023. Previously, Martin held various positions at HSBC from April 2021 to June 2023, including Machine Learning Engineering Lead and Lead Architect for Machine Learning Automation, where responsibilities included managing customer analytics projects and overseeing end-to-end architecture for ML/AI initiatives. Martin’s experience also encompasses roles at Cigna as a Data Analyst and as a Regional Assistant Manager at Aegon Insights, along with earlier positions such as Intern Statistical Engineer at Kuang-Chi Institute of Advanced Technology and Marketing Research Assistant at MaBelle Jewellery Co. Ltd. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Hong Kong Baptist University, where studies were completed between 2010 and 2014.
