Mat Booth

Mat Booth is the Head of Production, Asia Pacific at HSBC Global Communications, where they currently oversee production efforts. They previously held roles at the South China Morning Post, leading video initiatives that significantly increased audience engagement, growing video views from 3 million to over 310 million in under three years. With extensive experience in the digital and broadcast news industry, Mat managed diverse teams and launched many successful projects, including SCMP Films. Their career began at CNN, where they served in various technical and editorial positions, contributing to international broadcasts and training initiatives. Mat earned a degree in Broadcasting with History from the University of Leeds.
