Matt Wilshaw has over two decades of experience in financial services and currently serves as Head of Risk for SME at HSBC, overseeing Wholesale Credit Risk Management. Previously, they held various leadership roles at HSBC, including Chief Operating Officer in Greece and Regional Head of Global Standards in the Middle East, where they focused on financial crime risk. They also led regulatory activities for UK Commercial Banking and contributed to shaping future finance through thought leadership on Open Banking. Matt studies at the IFS School of Finance.
