Matteo Giani

Matteo Giani serves as an Investment Director within the Capital Solutions Group at HSBC Global Asset Management since January 2017, having previously held positions as Director and Associate Director in the Financial Sponsors Group at the same company. Prior to joining HSBC, Matteo worked as a Director at epic - private investment community from April 2013 until its acquisition by Azimut, when it rebranded as Azimut Direct. Matteo's career began at Morgan Stanley, where roles included Associate and Analyst in the Investment Banking Division. Matteo's academic background comprises an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and dual M.S. and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
