Matthew Ryder is currently the Head of Special Situations and Private Credit at HSBC, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, Matthew served in various capacities, including Vice President and Director of Distressed Credit Trading, and held positions as a High Yield and Distressed Credit Analyst. Their career began as a High Yield Capital Markets Analyst at Credit Suisse from 2008 to 2010. Matthew graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College in 2008.
