Melissa Phipps

Melissa Phipps is currently the Product Control - Head of Valuations - Americas at HSBC, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Melissa served in roles including Vice President of Global Product Control Model Risk and Regional Product Control Assurance Lead at HSBC, as well as Business Analyst in Traded Credit Risk Systems at NAB. They began their career as a commodity trader at AWB from 2002 to 2007 and later contributed to the Market Risk Engine Replacement Project at ANZ. Melissa obtained a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Technology Sydney in 2007.
