Meredith Friedman

Meredith Friedman is an experienced attorney with a background in state and local tax litigation and commercial civil litigation. Beginning a career at Morrison & Foerster LLP as an Associate Attorney from November 1999 to November 2001, Meredith transitioned to Phillips Lytle LLP for a similar role until May 2006. Following this, a tenure at HSBC spanned from May 2006 to the present, where Meredith advanced from VP-Senior Counsel, overseeing commercial and employment litigation for the US retail branch network, to currently serving as Managing Associate General Counsel. In this leadership role, Meredith manages a team of attorneys and paralegals to address litigation and regulatory enforcement matters for HSBC North America. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Communications from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a J.D. from New York Law School.
