Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Regional Head of the Funds Credit Analysis Unit at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, a position held since 2008. Previously, Michael was an Associate Director at Bear Stearns & Company, where they managed derivative credit exposures for a portfolio of hedge fund clients. Before that, they worked as the Director of Credit and Risk Management at Bank of New York and served as a Credit Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Michael began their career at ANZ, eventually becoming the head of a unit within Relationship Management overseeing various financial institutions.
