Michael Plotnik is a seasoned leverage finance professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as the Head of the US Middle Market Leverage Finance and Sponsors Coverage Group at HSBC. Michael's extensive background includes key roles as Managing Director at Natixis and HSBC, where they specialized in recapitalization and acquisition finance for financial sponsors and corporations. Prior to their current position, Michael was a Director at Citi, focusing on large-cap financial sponsors, and also held leadership roles in business development and accounting throughout their career. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College and an MBA from The Wharton School.
