Michael Rowbotham

Michael Rowbotham is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in leadership roles within major financial institutions. Currently a Director at HSBC since October 2021, Michael previously held the position of Vice President at Credit Suisse from January 2020 to September 2021 and at Nomura from July 2015 to December 2019. Initial experience in the finance sector includes roles at Nomura as an Associate and Global Markets Analyst, along with a Global Markets Summer Analyst position. Michael also contributed as a Student-Athlete Representative for the Amherst College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and gained early experience through internships at O'Farrell Financial Services Inc. and Exel Contracting Inc. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Amherst College, earned in 2015, Michael combines academic knowledge with diverse practical experience.
