Mo Mamouei

Mo Mamouei is a Senior AI Scientist at HSBC, where they lead the planning and delivery of AI models for payment fraud prevention. Previously, they held roles as a Machine Learning Scientist at the University of Oxford and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Data Science and Modelling at City, University of London. Mo also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Computer Science and Programming at David Game Higher Education Centre and as a Visiting Lecturer at London City Incubator. They have extensive research experience, having served as a Research Assistant at the University of Southampton and participated in an industrial R&D secondment at Catapult centres UK. Mo earned a PhD in Machine Learning from City, University of London and holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Micro-Masters from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
