Namik Aksel

Namik Aksel is the Head of Global Markets at HSBC, a position held since 2018, after previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at HSBC Asset Management Turkey from 2004 to 2008. They began their financial career at Yapi Kredi Bank A.S. as Head of Fixed Income from 1998 to 2003 and later worked at Yapi Kredi Asset Management as Assistant General Manager from 2003 to 2004. Namik earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boğaziçi University in 1993 and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2014.
