Omar Siddiq has extensive experience in leadership roles within the banking and finance sectors. Notably, Omar served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Thai Bank in early 2019 and as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Malaysia Airlines from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Omar is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at HSBC Malaysia and holds multiple advisory and board positions, including Deputy Chair of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Council Member of The Association of Banks in Malaysia.
