Paul Medcraft

Paul Medcraft is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in developing JVM-based applications using Java, Scala, and Kotlin. They have successfully managed high-performing teams and led initiatives at prominent firms, including Barclays and Ipreo, where they played a pivotal role in the creation of the IssueBook platform, now utilized by 135 banks globally. Currently, Paul serves as a Tech Lead for IssueNet Integration at HSBC and has previously owned Envied Limited. They advocate for agile principles, functional programming, and maintain a focus on coding quality while fostering an enjoyable work environment. Paul holds a BSc (Hons) in IT from The University of Salford.
