Paul Smith

Paul Smith currently serves as the Country Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking at HSBC, a position held since December 2012, and also holds the title of Director of Corporate Banking, overseeing the UK CMB Head Office Chief of Staff & Strategy. Prior to HSBC, Paul worked at RBS from November 2009 to November 2012 as Area Director of Corporate Banking and held several roles including Director of Business Development and Business Development Manager in Corporate Real Estate. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Banking Finance & Management from the LIBF (2015-2025), a Diploma in Renewable Energy Finance from the LIBF (2011), and an Applied Diploma in Corporate Banking from the LIBF (2008-2007). Paul also holds a degree from the University of Hull (1999-2002).
