Paula Popescu

Paula Popescu is a Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC, where they currently focus on Group Corporate and Treasury Legal. They previously held positions as a Senior Legal Counsel in the DCM Legal team at HSBC and served as Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel at J.P. Morgan. Paula has experience working as a lawyer at Citi and Barclays, where they were seconded to the DCM Legal Team and the Barclays Treasury Legal Team, respectively. Their early career included training as a solicitor and later becoming an associate at Clifford Chance LLP. Paula earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction at The College of Law.
