Pete Towns

Pete Towns is currently on a career break after a distinguished tenure in various technology leadership roles, including Managing Director and CTO Head of DevOps Services at HSBC. Previously, Towns served as Global Head of Transformation & Digital in Markets & Securities Services Technology, overseeing significant budgets and large international teams, and driving advancements in digital technology and cloud services. They have extensive experience in FX and MM Ecommerce development and have worked with renowned financial institutions such as RBS and Evolution Consulting PLC, where Towns contributed to major projects and innovative platforms. Towns holds a Master’s Degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Computational Mechanics from the University of Birmingham.
