Peter Grier

Peter Grier is the current Head of Tax Europe at HSBC, where they manage tax affairs across all European jurisdictions and business lines. With extensive experience in tax compliance and risk management, they have held various leadership roles within HSBC, including Global Head of WPB Tax and Tax Risk. Peter began their career as a Tax Consultant in the Banking Department at Ernst & Young and has demonstrated a deep understanding of financial sectors, particularly in asset management and corporate banking. They are committed to fostering diverse and inclusive teams and currently pursue a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance at the University of York.
