Phillip Tate is currently the Head of Infrastructure Architecture for Commercial Banking Technology at HSBC. With a rich background in IT infrastructure, they previously served as an IT Infrastructure Manager at Edexcel & Pearson UK from 2006 to 2011, leading teams in the delivery of IT infrastructure services and ensuring security across data centers. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Senior Infrastructure Architect at Pearson Technology Group, where they led a global engineering team and managed private cloud platform operations. Earlier roles include IT Lead Architect at HSBC from 2016 to 2019. Phillip holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Sheffield, awarded in 2000.
