Qian Qian is currently the Director of US Government Bond Trading at HSBC, specializing in UST long end and strips. Previously, they held the same title at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2019 to 2023 and worked in Rates Trading at J.P. Morgan from 2014 to 2019, as well as participating in the Associate Rotation Program at Citi from 2013 to 2014. Qian is pursuing a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics and an M.S. in Applied Economics at Virginia Tech, while also studying Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University. They earned a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2013.
