Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar is an experienced finance professional with expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement. Currently serving as a Manager at HSBC since 2020, Rakesh focuses on month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and external audit support. Prior experience includes a Manager role at RBS, where Rakesh was responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial disclosures under IFRS and led various projects to enhance closing and reporting processes. Rakesh also held positions at Accretive Health, NIIT Limited, and Morningstar, accumulating a diverse skill set in P&L analysis, variance reporting, budgeting, and financial reconciliation. Rakesh holds the ACCA qualification and an IFRS Certificate, along with degrees from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Delhi University.
