Raphael Simons

Raphael Simons is an accomplished expert in physical security, business continuity, and resilience risk, currently serving as the Global Head of Protective Security Technology at HSBC. With over 15 years at HSBC, they have held significant roles, including Europe Regional Head of Protective Security Operations and Country Head of Business Continuity and Protective Security for HSBC South Africa. Prior to HSBC, Raphael spent nearly 20 years with the Bermuda Police Service, culminating in the position of Deputy Head of the Financial Investigation Unit. Raphael holds an Associate's degree in Police Leadership and Management Development from Dalhousie University and is a Certified Money Laundering Investigator through the CFATF.
