Rene Tan

Rene Tan is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in private banking, particularly servicing ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients in the Philippines since 1996. Currently serving as Director at HSBC since January 2017, Rene previously held the position of Vice President at Credit Suisse, focusing on the Philippines Desk from December 2012 to December 2016. Prior to that, Rene worked as Vice President at Verwaltungs- und Privat-Bank Aktiengesellschaft, covering markets in Manila, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur from May 2006 to August 2012, and at Bank Hapoalim- BHI Investment Advisors from July 1996 to April 2006. Early career experience includes roles in commercial leasing at First Pacific Davies and as a Site Engineer at Fletcher Construction.
