Richard Keery

Richard Keery is a strategic leader with over 15 years of experience in driving transformation and operational excellence within global financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North Africa. They led HSBC’s strategic exits from Armenia and Greece and achieved sustained double-digit growth in revenue and assets in multiple regions. Richard has held various senior positions, including CEO Head of Wholesale Banking at HSBC Czech Republic and Country Head of Business Banking in Egypt, where they championed innovation in SME banking. Currently serving as the Strategic Programmes Director at HSBC, Richard focuses on aligning enterprise-wide changes with regional priorities and ensuring operational efficiency. They are a member of the Board of Directors for the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic.
