Richard Venters

Richard Venters is currently the Global Relationship Director at HSBC, where they manage UK and international banking requirements for a portfolio of FTSE250 and large privately owned businesses across Scotland. Previously, Venters held the position of Senior Relationship Director at Barclays from 2010 to 2016, and before that, served as a Relationship Director at Barclays Bank plc from 2008 to 2010, managing large corporate relationships in the manufacturing industry. Venters also worked as a Relationship Manager at Lloyds TSB Bank plc, overseeing underperforming credits, and began their career as a Graduate Management Trainee at Lloyds Bank. Venters earned an MA in International Relations from the University of St Andrews from 1997 to 2001.
