Rick Tu

Rick Tu is currently the Managing Director of Tech Banking Origination at HSBC, where they are a founding member of a newly formed team focused on banking the innovation economy. Prior to this role, Rick spent 25 years at Silicon Valley Bank, where they served as Managing Director and Market Manager. Rick specializes in business development, originating new opportunities, and structuring innovative credit transactions across all technology sectors, having been involved in over 500 debt transactions and closing more than $2 billion in total credit commitments.
