Robert Williamson

Robert Williamson is currently the Head of Cyber Security Operations Integration at HSBC, a position they have held since 2025, following their role as Principal Security Architect from 2022 to 2025. They previously worked as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group from 2019 to 2022 and as a Consultant at Stratia Consulting in 2018. Earlier experience includes positions such as Team Leader at The Co-operative Group and Senior Security Operations Centre Analyst at ECS. Robert earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Computer Systems and Networks from Napier University and an HNC/HND in Computer Networking and Internet Technology from Stevenson College Edinburgh.
