Rowan McDaniel

Rowan McDaniel is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in domestic and international banking, currently serving as the U.S. and Americas Head of Sanctions and Deputy BSA Officer at HSBC. Previously, Rowan held various leadership roles at HSBC, including U.S. Head of Economic Sanctions, and worked as an Enforcement Investigations Officer at the U.S. Treasury, OFAC. Rowan is recognized as a sanctions knowledge expert and has built strong collaborative relationships with law enforcement agencies and regulators to combat financial crime. Rowan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Doctor of Law from Pennsylvania State University, The Dickinson School of Law.
