Ruby Lau

Ruby Lau has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a career that began at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst from April 2005 to July 2008, where responsibilities included supporting portfolio managers and conducting securities analysis. Following this, Ruby worked as an Associate Director at UBS from July 2008 to April 2009, advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on asset allocation and portfolio structuring. Ruby served as Director at Ginger Capital from September 2009 to June 2013, focusing on fundamental analysis and investment portfolio management for North Asian markets. Currently, Ruby is a Portfolio Manager at HSBC since October 2013, leading flagship investment strategies and co-managing significant multi-asset mandates with an overall AUM of $3 billion. Ruby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from MIT, achieving a high academic distinction.
