Sam Fan is the Head of Security Service Machine Learning at HSBC, where they are accountable for building out machine learning capabilities and delivering an AI platform. With over 16 years of engineering experience in the finance and banking industries across Australia and mainland China, Sam has a proven track record in managing global technology platforms and leading teams through organizational change. They have excelled in roles at various organizations, including Standard Chartered Bank and Origin Energy, consistently achieving recognition as a top performer. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University.
