Sameek Roychoudhuri

Sameek Roychoudhuri is an experienced professional in analytics and risk management, currently serving as a member of the GARP India Market Advisory Committee. With over three years as Head of Global Risk Analytics at HSBC, Sameek led teams focused on credit risk for SME and large corporate lending as well as traded risk management across various credit domains. Relative to their extensive background, Sameek has developed key analytics solutions in wholesale credit, climate risk, and digital lending, ensuring robust risk controls and data-driven strategies. Sameek holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and has completed the HSBC Aspiring Chief Risk Officer Development Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School.
