Samuel Cook

Samuel Cook is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently, Samuel serves as the Director and Head of Audit for Capital Financing and Advisory, as well as the Sustainable Finance Audit Lead in Wholesale Banking at HSBC, a position held since September 2010. Prior to this, Samuel was a Senior Manager and Director at HSBC, where responsibilities included co-leading Global Banking and serving as the Financial Crime Risk lead for the Global Banking and Markets team. Earlier in the career at the UK National Audit Office, Samuel held roles from Senior Audit Executive to Audit Principal between August 2005 and August 2010. Samuel holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from the University of Bristol, completed in 2005.
