Sandeep Batra is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with about 25 years of leadership experience across the Asia Pacific region. Currently, as the Managing Director and Head of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC India, Sandeep oversees a diverse portfolio encompassing private banking, retail banking, wealth management, and more. Previously, Sandeep held key positions at Citibank, including Head of Consumer Banking in Russia and Senior Vice President of Consumer Risk in Thailand, where they successfully navigated complex risk environments and led strategic change initiatives. Sandeep's career began at Standard Chartered Bank, where they contributed significantly to product development and business management. Sandeep earned an MBA in Finance, Marketing, and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
