Sandeep Surendran

Sandeep Surendran is currently the Assistant Vice President for the Regulation Management Team at HSBC, where they lead compliance initiatives by integrating responsible AI and logical reasoning into regional frameworks. With a strong focus on financial crime prevention, Sandeep enhances regulatory adherence and drives business performance at HSBC. Prior to this, Sandeep served as a Senior Business Analyst and Financial Crime Specialist at ANZ, where they developed systematic compliance approaches utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Sandeep began their career at Standard Chartered Bank as a Team Lead and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from New Horizon College of Engineering.
