Serge Bottse

Serge Bottse is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in leveraged finance and corporate investment banking. At HSBC since January 2019, Bottse serves as the Head of Leveraged Finance for Continental Europe, excluding France and Germany, and previously held the title of Director of Leveraged Finance for the same region. Prior to HSBC, Bottse worked at Deutsche Bank from June 2012 to December 2018, focusing on leveraged finance for the Benelux region and served as a Senior Coverage Banker in Corporate Investment Banking. Bottse's career also includes a role as a Senior Credit Officer for Structured Acquisition Finance and Corporate Risk at ING from May 2008 to May 2012, and various positions at ING Commercial Banking. Bottse began the career at Banque Artesia Nederland as a Management Trainee. An academic background includes a Master's degree in International Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam and education at The University of Georgia and Sprayberry High School.
