With prior experience as a Finance Operations Manager at HSBC, Shankar was instrumental in data validation and the transition of data processes from the UK to India. They also managed reference data at RBS Business Services for a decade, enhancing team performance and stakeholder engagement. Shankar began their career at Tata Consultancy Services and Serco, where their skills in managing loan accounts and decision-making were developed. Shankar holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Bharathidasan University.
