Shazia Afreen

Shazia Afreen is currently the Assistant Vice President and KYC Manager in Corporate and Institutional Banking Operations at HSBC, where they are responsible for wholesale banking client onboarding and quality customer due diligence. Shazia began their career in education as a Senior Teacher at Orient School before transitioning to the banking industry, where they gained experience as an intern at Southeast Bank Limited and later worked as a Business Analyst at Taskeater. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting & Marketing from North South University, Shazia has developed strong skills in banking operations, KYC, and customer relationship management throughout their professional journey.
