Simon Cornwell is the Managing Director and Global Head of Electronic Trading Product at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, a role they have held since 2018. Prior to this, Simon served as the Director and Head of Direct Execution Services and Customized Execution Services EMEA at HSBC from 2010 to 2011. They also built and led the Electronic Execution desk at Citi from 2001 to 2010, where notable achievements included executing the first client algo trades and launching the Citimatch BCN product in Europe. Simon started their career as a Product Manager for Electronic Trading at Bloomberg Tradebook from 2000 to 2001.
