Sofia Gaimes

Sofia Gaimes is currently the Director of Markets Treasury at HSBC, where they manage market and operational risk, lead business strategic projects, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple international branches. Previously, they held roles at HSBC in various capacities, including Treasury Market and Operational Risk Officer and Treasury Business Manager. Earlier in their career, Sofia worked as an Executive Assistant at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations and as a Project Coordinator at the World Intellectual Property Organization. Sofia holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Foreign Languages applied to Business and Trade and has completed extensive training in risk management and other banking disciplines.
