Sonal Gupta

Sonal Gupta, CFA, is the Head of Research - Equities at HSBC Asset Management India, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of Equity Research at L&T Financial Services from 2021 to 2022, and held various roles at UBS from 2008 to 2010, achieving notable accolades as a lead analyst. Their experience also includes positions at Fidelity Investments, where they specialized in the Asia Pacific Technology sector, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they consulted on government reforms. Sonal holds an MBA in Business (Finance & Strategy) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a B.E. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.
